Siperb today announced the launch of Web‑Phone.org, a dedicated documentation and developer resource site focused on browser-based calling and Click-to-Dial implementations, alongside significant enhancements to its Click-to-Dial (Click-to-Call) capabilities.

Web-Phone.org serves as the home of the Web Phone SDK — an open, WebRTC-based software development kit designed to help developers embed real-time voice calling directly into web applications, CRMs, SaaS platforms, and internal tools. Importantly, the Browser Phone SDK is not tied exclusively to the Siperb platform. Developers can use the SDK either with Siperb’s cloud softphone and SIP proxy services, or independently with their own SIP infrastructure, providing maximum flexibility and avoiding vendor lock-in.

Click-to-Dial remains a foundational capability across both the Siperb platform and the Browser Phone SDK. Once deployed, applications can programmatically initiate outbound calls, allowing users to place calls by clicking telephone numbers directly within a web interface. This approach reduces friction, eliminates manual dialing, and tightly integrates voice communication into existing business workflows.

As browser UX continues to evolve, Siperb has also addressed newer interaction patterns such as split-tab layouts. Modern browsers now allow multiple web pages to be displayed side-by-side within a single tab, improving productivity but introducing isolated execution contexts. To ensure Click-to-Dial continues to function reliably in these scenarios, Siperb provides a lightweight browser extension that bridges these contexts. Developers may also implement their own extensions using the same Browser Phone API, enabling fully custom dialing workflows.

The launch of Web-Phone.org reflects our commitment to open, standards-based communications,” said Siperb. “We believe browser-based calling should be accessible, transparent, and adaptable. By separating the Browser Phone SDK from any single service requirement, we give developers the freedom to choose how — and where — they deploy real-time voice.

The enhanced Click-to-Dial features and the Web-Phone.org platform are available immediately. Developers can access documentation, guides, and integration examples at https://www.web-phone.org
